There’s something about the Pacific Northwest that feels endlessly cinematic. The clouds hanging low over the mountains, the way the air moves through the trees, the deep greens that seem to hold every shade of emotion. As a Seattle wedding photographer, I’m drawn to that atmosphere…to the mix of stillness and depth that defines this part of the world.
Olivia and Spencer’s wedding at North Fork Farms captured everything I love about photographing in Washington. Set against the foothills of the Cascades, the venue’s open pastures and quiet forest edges created the perfect balance of intimacy and expanse. The soft light filtered through the trees, wrapping the day in something tender and timeless.
Their ceremony took place surrounded by the sounds of the valley and the warmth of those closest to them. Every moment felt intentional and grounded, filled with presence and calm. It was simple, honest and full of heart.
As a wedding photographer in Seattle, my approach is rooted in observation. I’m less interested in perfection and more in truth…in the pauses between moments, the unspoken gestures, the quiet connection that tells a story long after the day ends.
Olivia and Spencer embraced their day fully, with openness and ease. The result was a celebration that felt authentically them…deeply human, unposed and real.
North Fork Farms is one of those rare spaces that feels like a retreat from the world. The mountains stand close, the fields stretch wide and the light moves differently here. For anyone planning a wedding in the Seattle area, it’s a place that offers both grandeur and stillness. A space that holds stories beautifully.
If you’re searching for a Seattle wedding photographer who captures emotion in its most natural form, I’d love to connect. Let’s tell your story in the light and in the spaces between.
